Patrick Dunfey

Head of Exhibitions Design and Planning

Patrick Dunfey joined the Hood Museum of Art in 2003 as exhibitions designer/preparations supervisor. His responsibilities include the design, planning, preparation, and installation of all exhibitions. He develops and oversees production of display furniture, casework, and temporary walls for all installations, and creates graphic identity for all exhibits including gallery colors, title treatment, and didactic material. Patrick also manages the preparations department and matting and framing operations (three full-time positions, subcontractors as required). Patrick received his B.F.A. in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1981.
