The Expansion

The Hood Museum of Art is expanding and renovating its facility.

The plans include three object-study rooms, a sweeping public reception space, and a number of stunning new galleries, along with renovations to the existing Charles Moore galleries. From excavation to reinstallation, the project will likely continue through 2018.

Along the way, you will have many exciting and new opportunities to stay connected to the Hood through programs and partnerships on campus and in the community, as well as updates here on our website!
